VS2 FITNESS is excited to embark on this stage of your fitness journey with you! We want you to be proud of your accomplishments as we proceed and enjoy the process. To give you the direction, accountability, and support that you need there are a couple of different facets to the VS2 FITNESS program, beginning with our fitness assessment.
WHAT IS A FITNESS ASSESSMENT?
Think of your fitness assessment as the roadmap to your future lifestyle - an effective tool to help you visualize the big picture. The purpose of this appointment is for your trainer to take an appraisal of your current fitness status, through physical tests, to help determine your fitness level.
IS THE ASSESSMENT FREE?

HOW LONG WILL THE ASSESSMENT TAKE?
The assessment covers all the components of fitness, including cardiovascular, flexibility, muscular strength, and endurance to help provide a baseline to chart your progress. Please allot at least an hour and a half of your time for the appointment.
DO I NEED TO COMPLETE ANY PAPERWORK?
If you could take a moment to complete and return the health questionnaire and nutrition survey (click) to provide insight on any health concerns and your fitness goals, so that we can get started on the next steps on your path to health and wellness.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR AND IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO BRING?
Bring water and wear loose fitting clothes (jogging attire, athletic shorts and/or leggings, training shoes, etc.). Avoid alcohol, tobacco, and coffee for at least 3 hours before your assessment. Make sure you eat something solid (nothing too heavy) at least two hours before your appointment.
